Supply ship orders for Sri Lankan yard: Colombo Dockyard has gained a contract from a Singapore-based owner to build four 78m multi-purpose PSV ships, each of 3,600dwt. The yard said that the owner has asked to remain confidential.
16-engine offshore order MAN Diesel & Turbo has received a €22 million order for complete propulsion systems for four AHTS newbuildings, being built at ST Marine Singapore for Swire Pacific Offshore Operations.
GulfMark Offshore orders three PSV’s from Remontowa: GulfMark Offshore, Inc. reports the initiation of a vessel construction program. The first three vessels in the program will be built by Remontowa Shipbuilding SA in Gdansk, Poland, and consist of two 1,000 square meter deck area platform supply vessels of the MMC887CD design and one MMC879CD design with a deck area of over 800 square meters.
Rolls-Royce to supply ship lifts to two Middle Eastern shipyards: Rolls-Royce has received contracts to supply Syncrolift ship lifts to two Middle Eastern shipyards, Damen Shipyards Sharjah (DSS) and Zamil Offshore Services.Under the first order Syncrolift systems will be designed and installed at Hamriyah Free Zone shipyard at Sharjah in the UAE.
