In support of business innovation, Progress is launching a new initiative through which it plans to showcase, promote, and award innovation in government, academia, and the social sector.

Progress is accepting nominations for the first annual Innovation in Practice Awards. They are looking for all levels of government who have demonstrated exceptional innovation practices. If you’ve started your nomination process, remember to complete it by March 12th!

The program will provide business leaders and entrepreneurs with a new understanding of government/academia/business/social partnerships and their potential growth opportunities.

All nominations will be sent to Thinkwell Research for analysis, segmentation, and preliminary assessment. Finalists will be notified prior to the awards ceremony where practices in innovation will be celebrated!

The Awards Ceremony will take place on April 25th, 2012.
