young professionals learn the ropes of our industry, and where they can contribute to it’s future. Companies are invited to participate in both the panel sessions and the job fair. Please contact Jim Fahey.

Technology Transfer Town Hall: A panel session focusing on university and laboratory technology transfer and commercialization will explore the wealth of IP and technology produced by the ocean science and engineering research establishments. To participate, please contact Jim Fahey.

NOAA-OER: NOAA’s Office of Ocean Exploration and Research is organizing a Town Hall meeting to discuss future plans and funding opportunities to encourage technical innovation, scientific investigations, and commercial applications of next generation oceanography.

Tour of San Diego Maritime Museum: Wednesday night prior to the Gala, the San Diego Maritime Museum will open its doors for conference attendees to visit for free. The USS Midway, site of the Gala, is a short and beautiful walk down the wharf, or catch one of the conference buses running that evening. Click here for more information.

Margaritas, Mariachis and Motorcycles: Close out the conference in the Exhibit Hall Thursday afternoon with Margaritas and a strolling Mariachi band, a San Diego tradition. The Harley-Davidson motorcycle sweepstakes drawing will cap the fun afternoon.
