Marine Institute Instructors have vast and varied levels of experience and knowledge from many marine industries. Instructors often possess untapped expertise and/or interests in marine fields that extend beyond the topics they teach in the classroom.

The MTS-MI (student) chapter has developed a Presentation Program that provides a forum for interested instructors to talk to students and colleagues on any marine-related topic.

Presentations will be held bi-weekly on Thursdays, from 1 pm – 2pm, at Hampton Hall, U.N.O. Instructors who wish to become involved will be able to choose from a list of available dates.

Instructors will be permitted to use 30 – 40 minutes to present their topic. This will be followed by a question and answer session. Instructors may present their topic using any tool, or tools, they desire. Students must be permitted to leave at 1:50 pm in order to prepare for their afternoon classes.

Getting Involved
Instructors may be asked to participate by their past, current, or future students, colleagues, and/or via a general call for interest through their school heads.
