The Journal of Ocean Technology (JOT) has themed is September 2014 issue around research by new and emerging young scientists involved in the development of innovative ocean technology.

In line with that theme, the production team invites young researchers  either starting their careers or studying at university or college, to submit technical papers for The Journal of Ocean Technology Vol.9, Iss. # 3: Youth and the Oceans.

The technical papers must describe cutting-edge research and development of ocean technology in its many forms and applications. Publication is scheduled for Sept. 2014. Papers should present the results of new, unpublished research and development. Maximum length accepted is 7,500 words.

Because all papers are subject to a rigorous peer-review they must be submitted no later than May 31, 2014. All peer-reviewed papers in the JOT are open access.
