Recruitment is underway for the 5th Annual Southeastern United States—Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS-CP) conference taking place in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, May 20-22, 2012 for over 300 Canadian and U.S. business and government leaders. This year’s theme is “Creating Opportunities. Advancing Partnerships.” Registration is now open and interested parties have until April 15, 2012 to register.

These conferences are a great opportunity to build linkages with key international leaders and business owners. This year’s conference and Business-to-Business  (B2B)Mission is hosted by South Carolina’s Governor Nikki Haley and co-Hosted by New Brunswick’s Premier David Alward. The business program will be Chaired by David Wilkins, the Former Ambassador of the United States of America and based in South Carolina, and co-chaired by Andrea Feunekes, co-CEO of Remsoft based in Fredericton.

The 2012 SEUS-CP Business to Business Mission will have a robust Business Delegation program will match delegates from across the 13 Alliance jurisdictions in a B2B matchmaking program.  During last year’s conference in Fredericton there were a total of 338 one–on-one meetings Business-to-Business meetings held over a period of two days between 76 companies and over 20 anchor and government economic development representatives.  Experienced in market matchmakers will work with your company to find the best matches possible to further your business success.  Register early to secure your matchmaking spot.

This year’s B2B Mission will focus on the following sectors: Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Energy and Logistics, however other sectors are also eligible to participate. The Southeastern United States – Canadian Provinces Alliance (SEUS//CP) is a strategic trade and investment-focused partnership between six southeastern U.S. states (Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama) and seven Canadian provinces (Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba).
