(Deer Lake, NL, Nov. 26, 2013) The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Community Business Development Corporations (NLACBDCs) will offer Consultant Advisory Services (CAS) to small and medium-sized businesses throughout this province thanks to an investment of $304,215 by the Government of Canada.  The announcement was made today by the Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for Newfoundland and Labrador and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency).

The NLACBDCs will use this investment to enable the 15 Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) and one associate corporation (Metro Business Opportunities) to offer CAS to small and medium-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador.  New and existing clients will be able to access technical and financial assistance by engaging consultants to assist them with business opportunities and challenges.
