Interested in doing business internationally?  Registration is now open for the 6th Annual South Eastern United States—Canadian Province Alliance Conference (SEUS/CP) and B2B Mission. The Annual conference opens in Halifax, July 14-16, 2013 at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel for over 300 Canadian and U.S. business and government leaders
A Newfoundland and Labrador Business to Business (B2B) Trade Mission will complement a robust business delegation program that will match delegates from across the 13 Alliance jurisdictions in a B2B matchmaking program. Build linkages with key international leaders.

The targeted sectors include Shipbuilding – Energy – Defense – Aerospace – Ocean-technology – Logistics – ICT and Digital Media – Agri-food – Life Sciences:  Does your company fit? If it is in one of these growth sectors or sells products or services to sector companies, then attendance at the SEUS/CP could pay off for you. As a Newfoundland and Labrador company you may qualify for a travel stipend to help offset travel costs (by application process).
The real value in this event is the targeted B2B program. The primary objective of the B2B meetings is to identify potential partnerships and business opportunities among participants especially with anchor clients

Matchmaking Program delegates will participate in one-on-one meetings over the two-day conference program. The matchmaking team will seek and set up mutually beneficial meetings among conference delegates and anchor companies which this year include  among others Emera, Nalcor, Irving Shipbuilding, Huntington Ingalls  and the Port of Montreal. This is included in the conference registration fee.
