The you want to circle November 27, 2012. That’s the day the Department of Environment and Conservation is staging the Newfoundland and Labrador Climate Change Adaptation Conference  at the Delta Conference Centre, St. John’s, NL. And you are invited.

This full-day event will highlight the results of the Atlantic Climate Adaptation Solutions Association projects in Newfoundland and Labrador. Topics will include saltwater intrusion, flood risk mapping, and community climate change adaptation planning.

The Minister of Environment and Conservation, Hon. Tom Hedderson will be on hand for opening remarks and the keynote speaker will be Bob Sandford, EPCOR Chair of the Canadian Partnership Initiative in support of United Nations “Water for Life” Decade.

The event gets underway with coffee at 8 am and delegates take their seats at 8:30 am.
