The MTS Journal,flagship of the Marine Technology Society, invites submissions of original manuscripts based on research within one of the professional disciplines of the Society. MTS consists of the many specialties of marine science, technology, engineering, and policy, and includes people from all corners of the world. The first issue of the Marine Technology Society Journal for 2013 will focus on the range of knowledge of the MTS international community of ocean engineers, technologists, policy-makers, and educators to celebrate the Breadth of MTS. A diversity of papers will be published in disciplines covering industry and technology, education and research, government and public affairs, and the Society’s 25+ associated professional committees (see https://www.mtsociety.org/communities/committees.aspx). The Marine Technology Society Journal is the flagship publication of the Marine Technology Society. It publishes the highest caliber, peer-reviewed papers on subjects of interest to the society: marine technology, ocean science, marine policy, and education. The Journal is dedicated to publishing timely special issues on emerging ocean community concerns.
