Real-Time Oceans Data Services (RODS) led by Rex Simmonds, has been a distinguished enterprise since its establishment in 2012.

Operating from its base in Newfoundland and Labrador, RODS has carved a niche in the marine industry with its multi-functional vessels, The Patrick and William and The Conner Murphy.

The Patrick and William originally constructed as a fishing vessel in 2001, it has been skillfully retrofitted to cater to a diverse array of marine activities, including oceanic research and various commercial applications.

The Conner Murphy is a retired Canadian Coast Guard Salvage/Rescue Vessel and that has been upgraded with the latest oceanographic researcher and stability equipment.
