NOTUS Electronics Ltd. is a developer and manufacturer of hydro acoustic sensors. The technology is being used in universities, research institutes and commercial fisheries. The three main products, Trawlmaster, Seinemaster and Gearfinder 700, all use transponder based acoustics for relaying vital geometry and other ocean related data over ocean ranges up to 3000 m.
NOTUS’ head office is located in St. John’s, NL. NOTUS has also established branch offices in the United Kingdom – NOTUS UK and in Spain – Notus Maritima, S.L. The company’s products are supported in other countries via a wide network of distributors that have been comprehensively trained in service.
