Defence Sector Opportunities for Academic Research & Collaboration

Oceans Advance, the Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association, and the Co. Innovation Centre invite faculty members and academic leaders in Newfoundland and Labrador to an industry‑focused session exploring Canada’s defence sector and Industrial & Technological Benefits (ITB) policy.

This session will examine the research capabilities, collaboration models, and engagement pathways most relevant to universities and colleges. Faculty will gain insight into how academic expertise can support defence innovation, strengthen industry partnerships, and contribute to the development of Canadian sovereign capabilities.
