RESEARCH MATCHING WITH BUSINESS: BUILDING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN INDUSTRY AND ACADEMIA

This casual and interactive session will provide an opportunity for firms and academic researchers to share information related to environmentally focussed research and innovations. Bridges will be built between businesses in the environmental sector and the various related academic programs.

Firms, researchers, and funding partners will meet and match on mutual ideas and interests.

Representatives from NSERC, the Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, ACOA, RDC, Mitacs, and more will be on hand to outline their programs to support research, hire researchers, hire students, etc. Environmental sector researchers from just about every science related discipline – engineering, marine systems, geography, biology, chemistry, geo sciences, environmental studies, innovation, food sciences, technology programs, etc. – will be present to introduce their work.
