Mr. Jansen will discuss the impact of corrosion on the Marine & Offshore Industry. The discussion will include the design of coatings and regulations to prevent corrosion, and the application of composite and glues. He will conclude with thoughts on the future in marine corrosion advancements.
Overview of Corrosion Related S&T Activities at DRDC Atlantic Dockyard Laboratory

Dr. Wang will discuss recent corrosion related activities conducted at the Dockyard Laboratory tailored to address the corrosion issues specific to the Canadian naval platforms to achieve a reduction in maintenance costs and to increase availability of naval platforms.
