Whether it is trade secrets, copyright, trade-marks, industrial designs or patents, every business has a some type of intellectual property(IP).  Being aware of your business’s IP, and how best to protect it,  may make or break your business. 

Canada Business NL is hosting Cecile Klein, a business development officer with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, in St. John’s  for three days to meet with interested business service providers, innovative SMEs and R&D organizations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain IP knowledge and work with Cecile in a limited group setting.

Appointments will be available to discuss intellectual property issues and there will also be some basic IP training/presentations and case studies offered to small groups.

No cost for appointments/training and phone or webinar are offered if you are unable to be in St. John’s.
