Oceans Advance, Memorial University of Newfoundland, the Newfoundland Association of Technology Industries, and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency invite you to an information session regarding three Memorial Ocean Technology R&D projects, lead by MUN’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, and principally funded by ACOA’s Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF).

Seaformatics:

-Project overview, research objectives, and preliminary results by Principal Investigator Dr. Vlasta Masek and Project Manager Andrew Cook

Intelligent Sensor Platforms:

-Project overview, research objectives, and industrial outreach opportunitiesof the Mechatronic Development and Prototyping Facility by Principal Investigator Dr. Nick Krouglicof and Project Manager Dr. Kaaren May

Responsive Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Localization and Mapping (REALM):

-Project overview and industrial outreach opportunities with Marine Environmental Research Laboratory for Intelligent Vehicles (MERLIN)  presented by Project Manager Mr. Ron Lewis

AIF Round 2012 Request for Letters of Intent and Project Proposals

The session will also include an overview of the AIF Round 2012 Request for Letters of Intent and Project Proposals. Representatives from other funding and partnering organizations, such as the Research Development Corporation (RDC), the Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development (IBRD), the National Research Council (NRC), and Memorial will also be available.
