C-CORE will host an Ice Scour and Arctic Marine Pipeline (ISAMP) workshop with the support of Petroleum Research of Newfoundland & Labrador (PRNL) and the province’s Research & Development Corporation. This 2-day workshop will  progress the Program for Energy Resource Development (PERD) ice scour workshop of 2011 (http://icescour.com/), with  an emphasis on the response of subsea structures to ice  gouging.

It is anticipated that the findings of recently completed JIPs, such as Pipeline Ice Risk Assessment and Mitigation (PIRAM), Subsea Ice Risk Assessment and Mitigation (SIRAM), Victoria field tests, National Research Council’s Canadian Hydraulics Centre model tests, and DnV Ice-Pipe will be presented. Technical discussions will include prioritizing remaining knowledge gaps.
