Hosted by the Department of Environment and Conservation  the day long Climate Change Adaptation Conference will highlight results of the Atlantic Climate Adaptation Solutions Association projects in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Topics will include

  • saltwater intrusion,
  • flood risk mapping
  • community climate change adaptation planning.

The Minister of Environment and Conservation, Hon. Tom Hedderson will be on hand for opening remarks and the keynote speaker will be Bob Sandford, EPCOR Chair of the Canadian Partnership Initiative in support of United Nations “Water for Life” Decade.

The event gets underway with coffee at 8 am and delegates take their seats at 8:30 am.
