As our industries work to extract vital resources for our global economy, we must ensure that we do so as environmentally safely as possible to protect our planet for our future. Part of that responsibility requires us to be prepared with the proper technologies and procedures to react to unanticipated incidents that threaten the environment. The Oil Spill Response Technology Seminar brings together industry experts to address how the oil industry can best react to an oil spill event in our oceans.

Building on existing industry expertise means learning of new best practices and technologies in the field. Bringing together operators and suppliers from Norway and Newfoundland and Labrador, the Oil Spill Response Technology Seminar will foster the establishment and growth of partnerships between companies in two key industry territories: the North Atlantic and the North Sea. Through seminars, site visits, and a trade exhibition, businesses on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean will have the opportunity to build on their expertise and grow their networks.
