The Research and Development Corporation (RDC) has contracted its five hundredth R&D project in the province.
That’s a lot of cutting edge research, from camera systems that work at the bottom of the deepest ocean to Arctic surveillance systems that track ice movement from the sky.
To help ensure Newfoundland and Labrador remains internationally competitive in R&D and continues to develop new technologies that add economic value, RDC has prepared a new funding program designed specifically to help businesses support their R&D and to retain top scientists and engineers in the province.
RDC’s CEO Glenn Janes will announce this new program at an OceansAdvance breakfast Speakers Series event on Wednesday, Nov. 12 (8:30 – 10:00). He will also provide an update on how to get the most out of enhancements to other funding programs and reveal new R&D work taking place in the province–projects with with tremendous potential to advance the ocean technology sector.
Stay tuned for a further announcement on a special guest to speak at this event.
