Oceans Advance Newsletter – January 28, 2025

We are excited to join our peers at the CoIC and look forward to many new opportunities for convergence, connection, co-creation and collaboration. Connect with us and arrange to drop by and see our new space. Our office telephone contact remains the same at 709-758-7059.

Oceans Advance is establishing an Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) to work with the organization to advise on ecosystem opportunities, strategic direction, and future sector growth.

Industry engagement is critical to ensure Oceans Advance understands its members’ business challenges and current needs to provide targeted and relevant advocacy as the voice of the ocean technology cluster in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Oceans Advance would like to hear from interested ocean industry leaders who are passionate about advancing the local sector. The IAC, which will meet quarterly, will provide a formal forum for discussion on successes, challenges, and opportunities within the ecosystem entirely from an industry perspective. Outcomes from the quarterly meetings will help shape the organization’s strategic direction in partnership with its board of directors.

Interested individuals should contact Shelly Petten, Executive Director for more information.

Deadline: February 5, 2025.
