Enterprise Singapore Launches 8 AI Open Innovation Challenges
Enterprise Singapore has launched 8 AI open innovation challenges as part of efforts to position itself as a global hub for AI innovations. The challenges offer a global platform for startups and SMEs.
The challenges include the following ocean tech related opportunities:
- Safran – Looking for AI-solution to detect the nature, size and number of objects based on variables such as movement, and warmth for sea surveillance process. The solution must be able to identify an object within a 3-second and enable integration to existing surveillance systems. There is also the possibility for wider implementation across their boats with optical systems (about 150 boats in South-East Asia).
- Seatrium – Looking for AI-based system that uses computer vision to automate and monitor safety, productivity and efficiency on shipyards. The solution should provide track yard activities and safety risks, as well as provide real-time intervention for safety use cases. Seatrium is willing to support further deployment across other yards worldwide if the solution proves successful.
