PREMIER LEADS DELEGATION TO OTC 2014 IN HOUSTON

(St. John's, NL; May 5, 2014)  Tom Marshall, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, is leading the provincial delegation to the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, this week, May 5-8. A total of 150 delegates representing 75 companies from the province are participating in this year’s conference at the Reliant Center.   Read more.

RFP FOR RESEACH TO REDUCE H&S RISKS IN HARSH MARINE ENVIRONMENT

Dear Stakeholders;   Petroleum Research Newfoundland & Labrador (Petroleum Research) is issuing a ‘Call for Proposals’ seeking proposals that address research themes aimed at reducing health and safety (H&S) risks for offshore operations in harsh marine environments.   Research themes include: human factors, fatigue management, training, simulation technologies, and technologies or processes aimed at reducing the likelihood of low-probability, high-consequence events (process safety).   Read more.
