If your company is based in Newfoundland and Labrador, or elsewhere in Canada, and you are attending Oceanology International 2012 then you may want to schedule this event in your agenda. There is a unique networking event offering opportunities to enter the UK market. 

On Friday March 16, 2012, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. at the Canadian High Commission in London, UKthere will be a free half-day workshop where Canadian companies and research organisations can explore the potential opportunities for working with innovative companies and research centres across the UK ocean technology sector.

Among the presentations envisioned for the agenda at this time are: integrating technology for naval support, engaging on future projects at the MoD, drivers for innovation in the ocean technology Industry, opportunities for Canadian ocean technology industry with respect to FP7 and beyond, and  innovation in the off‐shore oil & gas support sector. These presentations will be followed by a networking lunch.

This session, which takes place the day after the close of the Oceanology International 2012 exhibition, will also provide an excellent opportunity for networking.
