By means of an RFP,Petroleum Research NL is seeking Service Providers to submit a proposal for “State of the Art – Metocean Data for Oil and Gas Operations.” The aim of the project is to determine and assess the current state, usage, utility and performance of the Grand Banks metocean data network relative to two other jurisdictions: the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.

This project will provide value to Petroleum Research members by increasing the understanding of the current state, usage, utility and performance of established metocean data networks serving the Grand Banks region relative to other industry-leading regions.

Successful selection for Contract award will consist of agreement by Petroleum Research on the accepted project Proposal. It is required that all work and expenditures will take place in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Successful Service Provider (and any consultant(s)/sub-contractor(s)/vendor(s) where used) will be required to have a local base of operations from which the SOW will be executed and where the Contract will be administered.
