November 14 is the final date for you to respond to the LOOKNorth Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI). The first qualification is that you must represent a small- to medium-sized enterprise based in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Further to qualification, you will need to have developed remote sensing or other monitoring technologies that when employed can provide significant positive impacts on the sustainable development of Canada’s northern natural resources and oil sands.

The REOI is the first phase of a proposal process intended to identify up to three projects. Successful projects should demonstrate or validate technologies that will provide impacts such as an increase in operational safety, operational cost effectiveness, increased environmental responsibility, accelerated regulatory process for permits and other benefits as described in the LN-EOI Detailed Description Fall 2011 document.
