(OTTAWA, Ontario, January 21, 2014) International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTPCanada) today announced the election of six returning Board members for 2013-2014, and the appointment of Dr. Pierre Bilodeau as Chief Operating Officer.
Following his seven-year as leader, co-founder and chief architect of ISTPCanada, Dr. Henri Rothschild announced he is stepping down as President and CEO effective immediately. Within his new leadership capacity, Dr. Bilodeau will work with government funders, provincial, national and global partners, and the Board of Directors to address key priorities over the coming year. The organization will streamline resources, increase operational efficiency, and focus on the successful implementation of bilateral R&D projects funded to March 2015
The 2013-2014 ISTPCanada Board of Directors includes:

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Pierre Bilodeau as Chief Operating Officer effective January 1, 2014. Building on his previous role as ISTPCanada’s Vice President of Operations, Dr. Bilodeau will continue to grow ISTPCanada’s vision, mission and value proposition to maximize the impact of the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, he will provide leadership and manage the delivery of ISTPCanada’s bilateral program, and all associated financial and human resources, to deliver on strategic goals and priorities.
