The Council of Canadian Academies invites the members of OceansAdvance to participate in an online survey of individuals in the field of ocean science, to help determine Canada’’s Top Research Questions for Ocean Science.

As a member of OceansAdvance we would like you to identify up to three priority research questions that should be the focus of Canadian ocean science research in the coming decades. Your input is critical to the success of this exercise.

Before starting the survey, please click here to read the information sheet that outlines the specific requirements for your input. Once you have decided upon the research questions to submit, the survey itself will take no more than five minutes to complete. The deadline for completion of the survey is Dec. 9, 2011. Click here to begin the Survey.

Environics Research Group, an independent research firm, has been retained to conduct the survey on behalf of the Council of Canadian Academies. Please be assured that all information shared with Environics will remain strictly confidential and none of your responses will be associated with you personally or with your organization.

For questions about the project or the input required, please contact the Council for Canadian Academies at stefan.jungcurt@scienceadvice.ca.

If you encounter technical difficulties while filling out the online survey, please contact Environics directly at onlineresearch@environics.ca
