(St. John’s, NL; May 5, 2014)  Tom Marshall, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, is leading the provincial delegation to the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, this week, May 5-8. A total of 150 delegates representing 75 companies from the province are participating in this year’s conference at the Reliant Center.

The Premier will participate in a Canadian Press Conference hosted by the Canadian Embassy on Tuesday, May 6. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 108D at the Reliant Center. The Premier will deliver a speech on Newfoundland and Labrador’s oil and gas industry and opportunities for future investment and exploration.

Founded in 1969, OTC is one of the largest offshore oil and gas shows in the world attracting thousands of visitors from more than 114 countries. Through its extensive technical program, OTC delivers information on new trends and innovations in key and emerging offshore regions.
