The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for one (1) new Near Shore Fishery Research Vessel (NSFRV) to replace an aging vessel that is reaching the end of its service life. The new NSFRV (herein referred to as NSFRV) will be based on the design of the current class of three NSFRVs that were delivered in 2012 (CCGS Leim, CCGS M. Perley and CCGS Vladykov).
