As you are aware we are hosting the international OCEANS’14 MTS/IEEE/OES Conference in our Fair City from September 14-19, 2014.

A local planning committee ~ TEAM14 ~  has been working on this project for some time now and one of the main focuses of our work is to ensure that the NL ocean technology sector gets maximum exposure both from the industry perspective as well as for the research and academic community. Our plan is to maximize marketing of our local companies and institutions by creating a “Canada Row ~ a Sea of Red ~ Booths 66-82 and 83-99”  where we would place most of the booths from NL and other Canadian Company’s , making it a “Show Piece” by highlighting the strength and diversity of ocean technology in Canada. The plan is to have that aisle carpeted in red, similar to what the Atlantic Canadian Pavillion does at OCEANS and other shows.

We are attending OCEANS’13 in San Diego next week and will start selling booths to the international community as of Tuesday, September 24.  We feel that the booths will sell quickly once we open the floorplan up to the present exhibitors. We have a limited number of booths ~ 148.

So we would like to afford the Cluster an opportunity to book prime space in advance.  We have already sold 20 plus booths !

The following is an interactive link which shows the floorplan for Mile One Centre as well as the booths already taken and what companies are committed thus far.

If you wish to book a booth please advise us as soon as possible by filling out the attached registration form and returning it to my colleague Sue Kingston (her contact info is noted on the form).  Please copy me as well.
