The presentation slides for these sessions are now available online here. We also invite you to visit the newly launched ERA-Can+ website and subscribe to the ERA-Can+ newsletter to get updates on project activities and relevant news in the field of EU-Canada research and innovation collaboration. You can also receive updates and engage with ERA-Can+ through Twitter.

ERA-Can+ promotes cooperation and collaboration among Canadian and European researchers and innovators. This 36 month project which began 1 Oct. 2013 connects Canadian and European partners to the funding and resources available under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 funding (a $120 billion fund), and facilitates collaborations in key thematic areas, including information and communications technology, ocean and arctic science, space, and agriculture/agri-food.

The project involves Canada’s Public Policy Forum, the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada with the  science and innovation agencies from Italy, France, Austria and Germany.

The Forum will be involved in numerous facets of the initiative, including as the lead Canadian partner in organizing a targeted symposia to foster Canada-EU partnerships on research infrastructure, innovation and commercialization.

We look forward to working with you on future ERA-Can+ initiatives.
